Introduction

As a global leader in environmental monitoring solutions, we believe in transparency and precision — not just in our products, but in our communication too. This FAQ reflects our dedication to helping you achieve reliable performance and seamless service anywhere in the world.

Sales & Service

Q: What makes you stand out from other suppliers?

A: We are a globally recognized brand that helps customers save time and reduce investment in marketing.

Q: What is your general lead time?

A: We keep some stock in our factory. When out of stock, the typical lead time is 7–15 working days.

Q: What certifications do you have?

A: CE, FCC, UKCA, WEEE, GCC, ISO21501-4, NIST.

Q: How often do you launch new products?

A: We carry out annual new product development and product upgrades.

Q: What after-sales service do you offer?

A: We have local service teams in the USA, UK, Brazil, and India, supported by an online global support team.

App & Connectivity

Q: Why can’t the app connect to the device?

A: Please ensure your phone and device are close to each other, restart the device if needed, or try using another phone. If the issue continues, contact customer support.

Q: The exported data file can’t be opened or looks garbled. What should I do?

A: Make sure your phone has Excel or another compatible file reader installed. If a default app is preventing access, reset or uninstall it and try again.

Q: Can one account log into multiple devices?

A: Yes, our app supports multiple devices under one account. The number of devices depends on your phone’s configuration, but dozens are generally fine.

Sensor Calibration

Q: How do I calibrate CO2?

A: Place the device in a clean, ventilated area (such as near a window or outdoors). Stay at least 1 meter away, then open the app → Settings → Calibration → CO2 calibration.

Q: How do I calibrate PM2.5? Do I need to do it often?

A: Normally, calibration is not necessary. If readings differ significantly from local monitoring stations, you can input the reference value via the app. For harsh environments, an annual comparison is recommended, but frequent calibration is discouraged.

Q: How to calibrate formaldehyde?

A: Place the device outdoors in fresh air for 30 minutes. If values remain high, use the calibration hole on the back of the device to reset the zero point.

Data & Accuracy

Q: Why does the data respond slowly?

A: To extend battery life, the device adjusts detection intervals. It responds quickly when the environment changes (like opening a window). For real-time updates, connect via USB power.

Q: Why are PM2.5 values sometimes inconsistent with official data?

A: Our monitors display real-time values for the specific space where they are located. Official figures are averages from multiple monitoring stations, so differences are normal.

Q: Why are CO2 readings higher at night?

A: With windows closed and less air circulation at night, CO2 levels tend to rise. Photosynthesis also stops at night, contributing to higher readings.

Q: Why does PM2.5 spike when using a humidifier or spray?

A: Fine water droplets or particles from sprays expand in the air, which increases detected particle counts.

Q: Why does the data keep changing? Is it normal?

A: Yes, slight fluctuations are normal. Both environmental changes and the sensor itself cause data variation.

Usage & Scenarios

Q: What is the maximum coverage area? How many devices do I need for 1,000 m²?

A: Our monitors use point measurement. As a rule of thumb, three units per 100 m² are recommended, with a minimum of one. For 1,000 m², 10–30 units are suggested.

Q: Can the device detect mold, asbestos, flour, or pollen?

A: Standard PM devices measure particles smaller than 10 μm. For larger particles, results may not be reliable. We recommend the PMD 351 for broader detection.

Q: Can the device detect VOCs like styrene or plasticizers?

A: The TVOC sensor provides an overall response to organic gases but cannot identify specific compounds. For precise analysis, professional lab equipment is required.

Other Questions

Q: Can customers replace the battery themselves?

A: No. Our devices use built-in lithium batteries. If you encounter battery issues, please contact customer support.

Q: What is the product warranty and lifespan?

A: 1-year warranty. The typical lifespan is 3+ years under normal use, shorter under harsh conditions (high dust or humidity).
