Which type of the sensor does your product use?

Our product adopts the laser sensor detection of particle concentration technology, based on the principle of laser scattering, and currently only a few companies has posed this technology around the world. Although it is getting more maturer, we have to say that the display of the readings still have inadequacies in consistency, repetitiveness and stability. In fact, this just has a slight effect on usage scenario.

Is your air monitor accurate?

Our products are often used in home, office and some other buildings, thus there will be a small gap on its performance compared to highly professional air quality detectors. What we can say is that its data accuracy is relatively accurate among many similar products. At the same time, our products are more compatible, rich and creative in performance. For example, the detection of temperature and humidity, formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, TVOC, PM2.5, PM10, PM0.3 can be realized on one detector.

What should I do when I receive the product?

Because the air does not circulate during storage and transportation, in order to achieve the best performance of the device, it needs to be placed in the outdoor ventilation for at least 6 hours before the first use.Meanwhile, each sensor has individual differences, just like everyone is with different alcohol metabolic ability, so a small number of sensors may require longer ventilation. In this situation,to extend the ventilation time will be advised. If the reading is still not normal, please feel free to contact customer service for further processing.

Why are the readings of the monitor so high?

Gases such as alcohols, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide may interfere with the testing of the sensor. Keep away from alcohol, cigarettes (including carbon monoxide), soot (including acrolein), and fruits (including ethanol) before testing. If the detector is exposed to high-concentration air pollutants environment, which will damage the sensor and make it work improperly. Under these conditions, please place the detector in a well-ventilated place for 6 hours again.

How should I use the device correctly?

When you first start testing, as the meter is just energized, the electrochemical sensor may have a transient reaction during warming up period, causing the value to rise within a few seconds. And it will the correct reading after the sensor is stable. The correct detecting method is to monitor for 5 minutes per test point and perform multiple points in one room, then average the number of points, which will be the average content in the air of the room.

What is the principle of particle sensors?

Laser particle sensor can obtain the number and quality of suspended particles in the air per unit volume, which is called particulate matter concentration. Meanwhile, it can output as a digital interface. Based on the principle of laser scattering, when the air outside uniformly passes through the specially designed air duct, the laser light is scattered on the suspended particles in the air, and the information processing circuit converts the light intensity signal of the scattered light into a voltage pulse signal through the photoelectric sensor. After preamplification, AD converts into a digital signal, and then the microprocessor MCU based on the MIE theory algorithm (by noise processing and optimal algorithm) to obtain the number of particles of equivalent particle size per unit volume, resulting in particulate matter the equivalent particle size and the number of particles of different particle sizes per unit volume, the output is the mass and number of particles of each concentration in a unit volume. Our product adopts the laser sensor detection of particle concentration technology, based on the principle of laser scattering, and currently, only a few companies have posed this technology around the world. Although it is getting more mature, we have to say that the display of the readings still has inadequacies inconsistency, repetitiveness, and stability. In fact, this just has a slight effect on the usage scenario.

Why the readings are inaccurate?

The air does not circulate during storage and transportation, to achieve the best performance of the device, it needs to be placed in the outdoor ventilation for at least 6 hours before the first use. Meanwhile, each sensor has individual differences, just like everyone is with different alcohol metabolic abilities, so a small number of sensors may require longer ventilation. In this situation, to extend the ventilation time will be advised. Please be noted that gases such as alcohol, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide may interfere with the testing of the sensor. Keep away from alcohol, cigarettes (including carbon monoxide), soot (including acrolein), and fruits (including ethanol) before testing. If the detector is exposed to a high-concentration air pollutant environment, which will damage the sensor and make it work improperly. Under these conditions, please place the detector in a well-ventilated place for 6 hours again. The M2000 Series supports calibration. Please kindly find the "Calibration zero" option in the menu to calibrate the sensor. If the reading is still not normal, please feel free to contact customer service for further processing.

Why the TVOC reading gets higher at night?

There are many factors that affect TVOC readings. When we go to sleep at night, we usually close the doors and windows and stop walking around. This reduces the circulation of air and makes the readings higher than during the day. In addition, the sweat produced during sleep, and the exhaled gas also contains a variety of VOCs, which also increases the concentration of TVOV. Even the TVOCs that are distributed in furniture and decoration materials are more obvious at night because they are not ventilated.

Must the ventilation/calibration done outdoors?

It is not a must put the device outdoors, you can just put it in a ventilated place such as indoors near the windows or near the air purifier, and keep it turned off. As the device has been stored in a sealed package for months, the ventilation mainly purposes at removing the stale air inside the device which may affect the accuracy of the sensors.

Can I calibrate the temperature and humidity sensor for M2000 2nd generation?

The displayed reading is higher than the normal temperature because in addition to the ambient temperature, many internal sensors and electronic components also generate heat. Currently we are not able to have a temp offset calibration. The temperature sensor was not broken, just the accuracy (±2℃) not so high comparing to some professional thermometer. The temperature sensor used in M2000 2nd generation is Sensirion SHT31, which is enough for normal daily use.

Can one account log into multiple devices?

Yes, our app supports multiple devices under one account. The number of devices depends on your phone’s configuration, but dozens are generally fine.

What is the maximum coverage area? How many devices do I need for 1,000 m²?

Our monitors use point measurement. As a rule of thumb, three units per 100 m² are recommended, with a minimum of one. For 1,000 m², 10–30 units are suggested.

Can the device detect mold, asbestos, flour, or pollen?

Standard PM devices measure particles smaller than 10 μm. For larger particles, results may not be reliable. We recommend the PMD 351 for broader detection.

Can the device detect VOCs like styrene or plasticizers?

The TVOC sensor provides an overall response to organic gases but cannot identify specific compounds. For precise analysis, professional lab equipment is required.

Can customers replace the battery themselves?

No. Our devices use built-in lithium batteries. If you encounter battery issues, please contact customer support.

What is the product warranty and lifespan?

1-year warranty. The typical lifespan is 3+ years under normal use, shorter under harsh conditions (high dust or humidity).

In semiconductor manufacturing, airborne particles can create defects long before a problem becomes visible in downstream testing. This article explains why operational monitoring matters, how portable and online particle counters work together, and how ISO 14644-1 and ISO 21501-4:2018 support a more reliable cleanroom particle monitoring program.

Outdoor AQI is the warning. Indoor PM2.5 is the room-level answer. As U.S. wildfire activity rises in 2026, households and workplaces need practical ways to understand whether smoke-related particles are entering indoor spaces and whether actions like closing windows or running purification are actually working.
