Why the readings are inaccurate?
The air does not circulate during storage and transportation, to achieve the best performance of the device, it needs to be placed in the outdoor ventilation for at least 6 hours before the first use. Meanwhile, each sensor has individual differences, just like everyone is with different alcohol metabolic abilities, so a small number of sensors may require longer ventilation. In this situation, to extend the ventilation time will be advised.
Please be noted that gases such as alcohol, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide may interfere with the testing of the sensor. Keep away from alcohol, cigarettes (including carbon monoxide), soot (including acrolein), and fruits (including ethanol) before testing. If the detector is exposed to a high-concentration air pollutant environment, which will damage the sensor and make it work improperly. Under these conditions, please place the detector in a well-ventilated place for 6 hours again.
The M2000 Series supports calibration. Please kindly find the "Calibration zero" option in the menu to calibrate the sensor.
If the reading is still not normal, please feel free to contact customer service for further processing.
I purchased two units of M2000 2nd Gen.
Both reading showed difference value especially for PM2.5 and CO2.
How to solve this issues?
I am getting readings that are ridiculously high on the HCHO – last night it reached 194. I don’t know I exactly what it means… who do I call for that.?
Thank you for any information. I am scared in my own home.
